Responsible Gambling at 5h8 — Your Protection is Our Priority

5h8 believes entertainment is truly enjoyable only when it is experienced within limits. Our responsible gambling policy keeps you protected and in control.

Why is Responsible Gambling Important?

Online betting and casino gaming is a popular form of entertainment. However, like any entertainment, if it goes out of control it can have a negative impact on personal and family life. 5h8 always wants every user of our platform to be safe, informed and happy.

Responsible gambling means viewing play as entertainment at all times, not as a source of income. Staying within a budget, keeping to time limits and asking for help when needed — these three habits keep a mindful player away from problems. At 5h8 we provide several protective tools to help you build these habits.

Our message to every player in Bangladesh is clear: play, enjoy — but keep your limits and sense of responsibility. 5h8 provides services only to those aged 21 or older.

Our Protective Tools

5h8 offers several effective tools to keep your experience safe and enjoyable.

Set Deposit Limits

You can set a limit on how much money you can deposit per day, per week or per month. Once a limit is set it is applied automatically — you are fully in control of your budget.

Time-Out Feature

If you feel you need a break, you can activate a time-out for 24 hours up to 30 days. During this period your account will be temporarily suspended and no betting or deposits will be possible.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel you need a long-term break, choose self-exclusion. Options range from 6 months to a permanent ban. After taking this step you will need to contact support to reopen your account.

Review Your Play History

You can view your own betting history, deposits and withdrawal details from your account at any time. Reviewing your activity regularly helps you make informed decisions.

Session Time Reminders

After you have been playing for a set period, 5h8 sends you a reminder. This feature keeps you aware of time and helps reduce the tendency to play excessively.

Account Verification

Age verification is mandatory when registering at 5h8. This ensures that only users aged 21 or older can use the platform and that minors cannot gain access.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

If the following signs appear, it means gambling is becoming a problem and it is time to seek help:

  • Continuing to play repeatedly in order to recover lost money
  • Lying to or hiding things from family, friends or colleagues because of gambling
  • Spending time gambling while neglecting daily tasks, work or family responsibilities
  • A growing tendency to spend more money than your gambling budget allows
  • Using betting to relieve anxiety, stress or loneliness
  • Feeling discomfort or restlessness when trying to stop or reduce gambling
  • Needing to borrow money or break into savings in order to bet

Tips for Safe Gambling

Following these simple habits will keep gambling enjoyable at all times:

Set a budget in advance

Decide how much money you will spend before each session and stick to that limit. Never think of betting as a source of income.

Set a time limit

Allocate a fixed amount of time for playing each day. Use an alarm or timer to remind yourself.

See it as entertainment

Think of gambling the way you think of watching a film or enjoying a cricket match — purely for fun, not with the expectation of making money.

Take breaks

Do not play for long stretches without stopping. Take regular breaks, go for a walk or spend time with your family.

Use the Tools — Keep Yourself Protected

Deposit Limit

Set a daily, weekly or monthly deposit limit from your account settings. Once a limit is set it takes effect immediately. Lowering a limit takes effect instantly, but increasing a limit requires a 24-hour cooling-off period — this protects you from making decisions in the heat of the moment. The minimum deposit amount is ৳200 and the minimum withdrawal is ৳1,000.

Time-Out

Taking a break from time to time is completely normal and healthy. Using the time-out feature you can pause your account for any period from 1 day to 30 days. During this period logging in, betting and depositing will be fully suspended, and any existing winnings can be withdrawn.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel you need a long-term break, choose self-exclusion. Options are available to close your account for 6 months, 1 year or permanently. Under no circumstances can the account be reopened during this period. Contact our 24/7 live chat to activate self-exclusion.

Betting History and Transaction Review

5h8 keeps a detailed log of all your betting activity, deposits and withdrawals. You can view this information from your account at any time. Reviewing your activity regularly helps you stay informed and avoid overspending.
